PEGGY KAPLIN ZALOGA, LMSW
PEGGY KAPLIN ZALOGA, LMSW is an integrative psychotherapist, who focuses on individual therapy with adolescents and young adults. Peggy received her Master of Social Work degree from New York University and obtained additional training in psychotherapy.
Peggy aims to foster an open and warm therapeutic environment to allow for her clients’ personal growth and progress towards their strengths and goals. She tailors therapy sessions to meet the needs of each individual.
Peggy specializes in work with children, adolescents and young adults with anxiety, depression, poor school performance, behavioral problems, attention problems, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, career challenges, grief, and life transitions.
Peggy’s primary approach to psychotherapy is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Peggy has a special interest in mind body treatments and offers hypnosis, Emotional Freedom
Technique and mindfulness training. In addition Peggy practices Trauma-Focused CBT (TF CBT), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), family therapy, play therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and lifestyle counseling.
