Moriya is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who focuses on child psychiatry and psychotherapy and women’s health. She completed her BSN at Downstate Medical School, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Nurse Practitioner program at Hunter College. She worked on the women's health unit at Zucker Hillside Hospital for five years gaining extensive experience in women's mental health.

Moriya specializes in depression, anxiety, personality disorders,  post-partum concerns and child mental health. She uses a holistic, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach to deliver evidence-based care to her patients.

Moriya’s individualized approach encourages patient success through blending a lifestyle based approach with psychotherapy and psychopharmacology. Moriya believes that exercise, sleep, healthy nutrition and work-life balance are crucial to health.
